In the last few weeks, I had the pleasure of giving an interview on purpose to Austin, TX-based communications consultant Jo Detavernier. We discussed among other things how companies can find their purpose and implement it throughout their organization. I talked about best practices - one of the companies I referenced was Givaudan, a Swiss company that develops fragrances and flavors. Needless to say, COVID-19 was a topic of conversation as well where the question was how the coronavirus crisis will impact the adoption of a purpose-driven approach to how companies are being managed.
